I'm still working on creating a huge network of work from home sites and linking them all together using 7 blogs and a central directory. The encouraging thing is that a few are actually earning revenue. So I'll continue to add more the google group I started last week has 26 members our newsletter is growing from three to 25 new subscribers daily so everything is going according to plan.
The free hosted sites I never expected to make any income from as I didn't really do much work to direct any traffic to them so the extra income is a big bonus as my original intention was to use them to boost page rank and inward link count.
I've set up channels in my contextual advertising income sources and this is one way I know they are creating income true roughly 40 cents a day per site but when you add that to my main niche sites which I pay between 5 us and 25 us a month thats a good return.
My one pages on autoresponders has also generated me some signups in some of the programs that was a big surprise as its actualy outdoing my main autoresponder site although admittly my main site is a bit neglected with no inward links indexed yet as I'm still working on the format.
I hope this encourages the nzpcs affiliates to get off their bottoms and start getting into building as many niches as they can.

Experimenting with Myspace
Have started a very basic blog on my space just as an experiment to see if it generates any traffic to any of the nzpcs site.
Finding with Google groups by having it open to anyone that we are geting quite a few spam posts and with twenty blogs and now over thirty websites and three forums to keep up with its getting to be a major mission to keep up with it all.
Might need to install some more registration and security options to slow down the spam.

I've added a number of new articles on varoius aspects of running a online home business. Most of the articles are orignal content written by me during the last few weeks as usual I used a seo tool to optimse the keyword content density of the page.

Don’t let people who aren’t involved in your business answer the telephone

Always conduct yourself honestly, build a reputation of conducting your business affairs with integrity, you’ll build long lasting relationships if people know you are your word and endeavor to provide what you say you will. If something up expected comes up get in contact with your clients immediately tell them honestly what difficulties have arisen and any changes you need to make as a result. Don’t put this off it gets harder to fix problems the longer you leave them.
Lastly no man is an island and you shouldn’t conduct your business like one. Network with other business owners. Join related groups or society’s and know what local government departments are there that can assist you in your business.

Google deals another blow to the Work from Home affiliate.
Earlier in the year I wrote an article about Google’s policy changes and how it affected the home based affiliate. It was centered around the policy changes made in January of 2005 and was a review of the changes I had seen over a year I wrote in the article the importance of writing quality landing pages for affiliate links and incorporating the links into article type formats. The benefits of doing this was to offset Google’s policy of only one url per site including merchant and all affiliate urls in the sponsored advertising column of Google’s search result pages. By creating a keyword relevant web page and doing minimal seo work it is possible to offset and in fact even work this policy to your advantage.
Now it seems not only does Google want to limit their sponsored results obtained through ppc to one url per program but that they are making a concerted effort to totally eliminate all affiliate links from ppc results by placing the minimum bid beyond the range of the normal work at home affiliate. How they have justified this is by claiming to installed a page quality ranking system where by pages with low ranking will have excessively higher minimum bids. In fact many webmasters are now reporting bids starting at ten dollars us per click. One poor chap was selling a product for $4.95. So even if he had a 100 percent sales rate on his paid for clicks he would be making a US 5.05 dollar lose every click. His business is basically wiped out till he can organize an alternative supplier of traffic.
Now I see the long term wisdom of Google doing this, They have to protect their business and with the poor or sometimes not quite relevant or duplicate results returned it is easy to see users becoming immune or ignoring all together the sponsored ads. We all saw how quickly banner advertising lost its effectiveness. What I do find a little unnerving is the seemly arrogance and perhaps short sightedness by doing this in the manner they have. Surely they would have been better served to have given some warning the reasons behind the changes rather than state your website lacks relevance and quality if you improve this we will look into the situation with your site. As it stands now looking through forums that cater to the ppc webmasters it is apparent that Google is going to lose a large portion of their adwords accounts to other providers.
Now on the other hand those with adsense accounts should of noticed some significant increase in the amount their clicks were paid at. I for one have not. Which surprised me having a website in the serps on page one for the keywords work at home on three of the four most used search engines. The number one spot on Google.com for keywords earn online business and many combinations of this centered around keyword phrases using earn, online, home, business, money, work, opportunity. So where is the entire extra click through bid cash going too it certainly isn’t my account. In fact this week I’ve noticed increase of only a few cents per click.
One perhaps short term benefit Is I now see a lot of products mainly ebooks and web site portal generators for Adsense that promised to show the purchasers how to make huge income from click arbitrage now being given away in joint venture promotions and freebies for joining subscriber lists. Probably these entrepreneurs have contributed more to this change needing to be implemented more than any other single other factor. As they are responsible for the huge number of sites that have sprung up to cash in on click arbitrage and as the products didn’t have the right formulas to get listed in the serps they had a total reliance on ppc traffic.

Try and find software and information that is relevant to your sites description . That way you’ll have a higher chance of the people visiting your site being interested in what you have to offer. I’d get annoyed if I read in a description my site is about my overseas trip went there and they started to tell me about how to raise Canaries . This site is all about internet business so I’ve included some software to help speed things up and keep your pc healthy. As well as a page on Computers which incidentally happens to be the company I work for. Rotates things around have updates and a forum or guest book . People love to leave feedback just make sure you have some editing tools or approval system so your subscribers don’t get offended by some posts content.
Start a email list make sure what ever you do you have permission from the respondent to send them mail. I haven’t found a person yet on the net who likes spam. Then start a newsletter you can use this to inform your customers about some new products you may have introduced . Have a reward system for users and share the programs that are profitable or help you with others.
Share links with others I am very willing to swap a link as long as their site has some relevance to mine and wont offend my customer base . Try and have more than one site if you plan on doing this as it looks unnatural to search engines if you have a link into one site and that one has a link straight back to yours.
Have some affiliates that give some services or products away as well .Give some information away about how well they perform for you don’t over
embellish and make sure you only post what you have received not what you are expecting to . The net is fill of offers saying they will make you thousands in a day and that its fully automated . If that’s the case then why do they need others.

Today MLM type concept programs they come in various guiles and disguises and nearly all of them make huge claims of quick and easily earned profits bombard anyone looking for an online work from home opportunity. The misfortunate who are taken in by the hope of making a quick buck soon realize that there is no easy 100 percent guaranteed program to succeed in relatively short periods or else they go from opportunity to opportunity rather similar to those who purchase lottery tickets weekly with their fingers crossed.
If they just used their search engines and a few free tools they would find that MLM is the wrong track to go down for most entrepreneurs. If you search work from home or earn money online on overture or most search term result gathering software you’ll see the results rarely are above the two or three hundred thousand mark. Yet the sites competing for this terms range in the millions it becomes very apparent there are just not the numbers there to support all these type MLM programs and that very few of them could be getting the success rates most claim they are.
On the other hand niche site marketing with contextual ads to boast revenue levels is returning profits for nearly everyone who casts a hand at it. With the arrival of ad providers such as kanoodle and google as well as bidvertiser and yahoo to name a few there have been millions of sites spring up cater to any obscure category if there are people searching for it you’ll find a site for it.
There is a lot of work in making tidy sized profits from this type venture but at least there definitely is a light on at the end of the tunnel. There is also a relatively simple equation to follow content rich sites with good linking strategies and your almost guaranteed success. I’m not knocking the concept of MLM I belong to a few and have been in profit in them since joining but none of them have made me a millionaire they have however given me enough income to follow up on what I realized some time ago where the real money online is.
People during their lunch time breaks are not discussing the latest MLM program out on the internet rather your highly likely to hear about their latest pod cast download or mp3 file. The future of the net is going to lie with providing niche items, information and advertising not work from home multi level marketing programs. As more and more people become comfortable with purchasing products and services the sites that cater to the niches will come into their own.
The trick is picking the niche I see the bottom falling out of the wellness industry its now a fairly well know fact that the pharmaceutical companies are manufacturing illnesses that didn’t exist a few generations ago in order to cater the masses desire for self help medicating. I sometimes laugh when I see conditions like balding being classed as medical disorders or even the aging process.
The major advantage about niche site marketing is that you don’t need to sell a single product or recruit anyone to make a profit. You can start this type business with no investment and use your earnings to start other niches. Try and find any MLM program that you can make money without being reliant on others to join programs and part with their money so you can get paid.
In summary is a no contest the major function of the net has always been to provide information its used for this by everyone who accesses it and this is why niche marketing will always have the edge over MLM.
